Don't you sigh boy
If stars wear skies
In a rage of wood
Listen to the sky
Translucent suns melt
Wake the wild bride
When autumn turns
When the wind keens

Don't you sigh boy
by Alison Tolman-Rogers

Don't you sigh boy
Don't you sigh wide
Cause she won't die
Staring at the stars like a child
Loves parade

Don't you roam boy
Don't you roam high
She won't fly
Gazing at the moon all the time
Fades away

Don't you tear boy
Don't you tear the ground
But she won't mind
Boxing up her heart just to find
Summer's in a vase

Don't you cry boy
Don't you cry wild
Cause she's alright
Running in the wind like the light
Mountains stray

If stars wear skies
by Tom Tolman and Alison Tolman-Rogers

If stars wear skies
Some noble tunes,
And smiles wear women
Were enough to lift up Hippocrates,
When the rise is on the moon
From his sorrowful lamenting,

If light wears lakes
Of days having passed,
That dusk at play
And an old friend who is gone.
If songs wear birds forsaking
Play it for me,

If ballads wear
Leave out the minor chord please,
A young musician
Just the melody,
Simple up a dreaming tune
And an alto line,

If motions wear the
With a silent bridge,
Earth if curves bear planetary soaring

In a rage of wood
by Alison Tolman-Rogers

In a rage of wood
By the eastern sea
Where the shadows lay thick
Like wolves, I
Took myself, most merrily
Down a path of slender good

Too soon the dim
Gave way to fear
As autumn pulled the sun aside
And whispered musings
In her ear
Of visions, cold and grim

The wild geese strayed
Across the moon
Which cast a pale
Aethereal light, I
Sang a jaunty traveling tune
Most merrily, last night

Listen to the sky
by Campbell Rogers, Tom Tolman and Alison Tolman-Rogers

Listen to the sky
Tumbling forwards across the expanse,
In the simpleness of green
And dream your dreams
Past the fear and over the gaps,
And miracles too hope to regret
You won't come home
Singing softly to subdue the silence,
A red leaf spoke with quiet assurance
Until you're in the bathtub
Inside there was a secret joy waiting.
For the beauty of the sky
(until your dreams come true)

Translucent suns melt
by Alison Tolman-Rogers

Translucent suns melt
The curve of the Charles
Hushing loudly — Spring!

Wake the wild bride
by Alison Tolman-Rogers

Wake the wild bride
Spring the sun
Tell the weary world the way is won
Though the seesaw tide and the rip of the wind
Seem to tear at a name
Like a star, like a child

Dance a slow disguise
Painted sun
Tell yourself the world is just begun
All your running blind beneath the sky
Comes down to here and now
In something wild
Like a wing, like a sigh
Like a star, like a child

When autumn turns
by Tom Tolman and Alison Tolman-Rogers

When autumn turns
Red and gold and wild
Skipping like a child
Who knows her way

Soft sparkles rise
Drifting from our hands
Yesterday's demands
All seem to stray

A warbler cries
Calling from above
Whisper who you love
As he wings away

When the wind keens
by Alison Tolman-Rogers

When the wind keens on the fen
O'er reed and guelder rose
Will you have your love,
With you then
Lying in the ferns of home

When the swallows wing the moor
O'er stream and grassy glen
Will you have your love,
With you there
Flying in the fields of home

When the darkness gathers near
And the sounds of songbirds wane
Will you have your love,
With you here
Shadows in the dusk of home
